We all know him, the dad that pays his child support faithfully - even taking a second job if need be - but never gets to see his kid/kids; not because he's an abusive dad or was an abusive boyfriend / husband, but because the mother is a bitch. There are all sorts of agencies out there to help those " poor, defenseless " lazy-assed bitches who won't work, they'd rather leach off of the system and the fathers of their children. Don't get me wrong, there are alot of really good moms out there that work really hard to support their children, women that got rid of the dad because he was abusive to them and/or the children, but they can't do it on their own and they need help. These are the women that the child support agencies were set up to help.
Unfortunately, women like my ex-sister-in-law give those good women a bad name. While child support is diligently enforced, there are no agencies out there to ensure that the fathers' rights to see their children are enforced. These men eventually get disgusted with paying child support and never getting to see their child(ren), so they stop paying their child support. Now, they're the bad guy because they aren't supporting their children. I find it quite ironic, I might add, that women fought so hard for equal rights, but are not held to equal responsibility when it comes to custody agreements.
I'm not saying that fathers shouldn't be responsible and pay their child support, what I am saying is that the mothers should be held equally responsible - as long as the father wasn't abusive - in ensuring that the fathers get to see their children as agreed the custody documentation. If they don't want to see the fathers, then set it up where the fathers see the children outside the mother's home, at the home of a trusted relative, or something. They deserve at least that much for doing their part. If only there were an agency to ensure that the fathers get to see their children, now THAT would make things more equal.

How To Survive Total Economic Collapse
**FIRST OF ALL, THIS NOT A ACTUALLY A HOW - TO, IT IS MORE OF A COMMENTARY** When Man first emerged - whichever way you believe it happened - we had to not only figure out our own food sources, we had to learn how to make fire, make our own clothes, build our own shelters, etc. As technology has progressed, many people have lost and forgotten the 'old ways'. What concerns me is - if the economy were to completely collapse - how many people truly know how to survive? How many people know how to hunt food, forage for fruits and berries - and know how to tell the good ones from the poisonous ones - or build a shelter? How many people would actually survive if there were no cell phones, electricity, etc.? A friend of mine had a friend that was living in Louisiana when the last hurricane hit; the friend was eating cold food out of cans because she DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO BUILD A FIRE. This really concerns me; too many people are so dependent on technology, electricity, and such, that they would probably starve to death because they don't have the basic skills they need to survive! There is no easy solution to the problem, and it may not ever be an issue, but what if?
